AvioWeather ships a native tvOS app for Apple TV, letting you browse your favourite airports on the big screen. Favourites sync across your iPhone, the web dashboard, and your Apple TV — add an airport on your phone and it shows up on the TV too.

Home and favourites

The home screen displays your favourites as a grid of cards, one airport per card. The ICAO code is large and prominent; below it, a smaller chip shows the IATA code when assigned (not every airport has an IATA). Each card carries the flight-category colour and a summary of the current METAR.

Reordering

Rearrange your favourites with the remote: select a card with the select button to enter edit mode, then use the d-pad to move it left/right/up/down within the grid (2D-grid swap). Press select again to confirm the new position. Changes sync back to your iPhone and the web dashboard.

Pairing

On first launch the tvOS app shows a pairing screen with a code. Open AvioWeather on your iPhone or sign into the web dashboard to enter the code and pair the TV: it then inherits your favourites and login session. One Apple TV per account — pairing a new one automatically disconnects the previous TV.

A paired Apple TV appears among the active sessions in the account area on avioweather.app, where you can unpair it at any time. Your favourites stay synced across iPhone, web, and Apple TV.
