Language, password, biometric, account deletion.

Interface language

Picker at the bottom-left of the sidebar (dashboard) or Settings > Language (iOS). Supported: Italian, English, German, Spanish, French. Choice persists across sessions.

Password and security

Password change: needs current password and a new one meeting the standard requirements
Biometric unlock (iOS): Face ID or Touch ID to reopen the app without retyping the password
Logout: from the sidebar menu (dashboard) or Settings (iOS). Clears the local token and returns to the login screen

Active sessions

On avioweather.app, account area → Security section, you'll find the list of every device currently signed in to your account: website, Pro dashboard, iOS app. Each row shows the type (website / dashboard / iOS app), the browser or app, the last seen time, and a /24 IP zone that identifies the device without exposing the full address.

Revoke a single session with the «Revoke» button: the device is blocked on its next backend call (within seconds if active, at next foreground for iOS)
«Sign out from all sessions» (including this device): closes everything and returns you to login. The backend also invalidates every Cognito refresh token, so no device can renew the session anymore
Sessions are auto-deleted after 60 days of inactivity

Server-side revocation is enforced on every authenticated call (METAR, TAF, SIGMET, favourites, account). A revoked session stops returning data immediately, and the iOS app automatically takes you back to the login screen.

Paired Apple TV

If you've paired an Apple TV with your account, it appears in the sessions list as a «TV» row, showing a «Collegata» (paired) status and optionally «Attiva ora» (online right now). Use the «Scollega» (unpair) button to disconnect that TV: it will be returned to the pairing screen on its next attempt to fetch data.

Delete account

Settings > Delete account. Irreversible: removes favourites, rules, subscription, sessions and personal data. As soon as you confirm, the account becomes immediately unusable and all sessions are closed; full removal of your personal data is then finalised within moments. There is no cooling-off period and no soft-delete: the operation cannot be undone. If you had signed in with «Sign in with Apple», we also try to revoke, on your behalf, the «Sign in with Apple» authorisation toward AvioWeather.

If you have an active Pro subscription cancel it from the App Store first — Apple will keep billing even after account deletion otherwise.
