TAF — 24/30-hour forecast
Terminal forecast in periods.
The TAF (Terminal Aerodrome Forecast) is the official forecast for the next 24 or 30 hours. AvioWeather presents it as a horizontal timeline on the dashboard and as a vertical list on the app, one block per period (FM/BECMG/TEMPO/PROB30/PROB40).
Reading periods
- Each group shows: validity, forecast wind, visibility, ceiling and phenomena
- Flight category is inferred per group and shown with the same coloured pill as the METAR
- Tap or click a period to see its raw original text
- Hard transitions (FM = from) are highlighted with a vertical line; probables (PROB30/40) are semi-transparent

Some military and regional airports don't issue TAF. In that case the TAF block stays empty with a placeholder suggesting alternates.
